A Maths challenge has been set up to revise P4/5’s learning so far this year. Go to http://www.sumdog.com or download the Sumdog app and use the Sumdog login details in your child’s Home Learning pack to log in and start the challenge. These are common P4/5 spelling words which should be practised regularly.
Some good strategies for practising are:
– Look at the word, Cover it, Write it, Check it
– Have an adult or sibling test you (verbally or written)
– Write the word in a sentence

CBBC Primary Education Television
The BBC are showing three hours per day of Primary Education Television. From 09:00 each day, your child can watch educational TV during this period of school closure on the CBBC channel.
Contact With Your Child’s Teacher
During this period of school closure, our teachers will aim to contact each family in their class by phone call once per week. This will be done during normal working hours and is for checking in, providing support and giving feedback and encouragement to learners. If there are any times at which you will not be able to take a phone call, please let me know by emailing me at susan.niven@brunstane.edin.sch.uk . Please get in touch if you think we might not have a current phone number for you.
